  1. Realtek HD Universal Driver Left Headphone louder than Right

I'm using an MSI B450 Tomahawk Max motherboard brand new. Installed the latest Realtek drivers from their website. After about a week or so of use, the audio suddenly became louder in the left headphone. No warning, nothing, it just happened. Reinstalling the same drivers seemed to work, then the problem happened again after a while. Reinstalled, happened again, reinstalled, happened again. Just today I tried installing an older driver realtek HD audio driver, NOT the universal driver, which didn't work at all as I was unable to use the Realtek Audio Console, and when reinstalling the new Universal driver the balance problem persisted. What I've done so far:

    - Verified that it isn't a headphone problem

    - Tried disabling 'audio enhancements' in the advanced tab of my speaker properties in the sound control panel

    - Made sure I was on the latest BIOS and audio driver version

    - Reinstalling Windows I'm using Windows 10 Pro N

I am currently using a workaround of changing the balance of my headphones Left headphone at 50 and Right Headphone at 65 but I'd like an actual fix if anybody has a solution.

    :)

PC not differentiating Left/Right channel properly

I have an .mp3 (Bohemian Rhapsody to be exact). When I play it on my Mobile (Xiaomi Redmi 2), the lyrics "Little High", "Little Low" which are supposed to be on left and right channels respectively are very clear and if you are only wearing the left headphone you would only hear "Little High" and not "Little Low" and vice versa. This is not the case with my PC.

How do I resolve this? I rechecked the sound file multiple times and also used this. I think i am missing some setting in my PC.

I've tried playing with VLC, iTunes and WMP to no avail. I am using Windows 10.

Edit - I hear "Little high" and "Little low" in both left and right headphones on my PC. But when on PC, "Little high" is louder in left and loud but not-as-loud-as-in-left in right. I cant find any setting for Mono as you guys suggested. Driver is Realtek HD Audio.
