Windows 10: Realtek PCIE Card Reader can not start Code 10

‎My SD card reader is constantly unresponsive, and the only way to fix the issue it to reboot my laptop every stinking time I need to use it. This is beyond inconvenient, as I have to remember all the various work items I have open, lest I forget about some task I was working on. I have an HP Laptop with a Realtek PCIE Card reader. It stopped working after the Win 10 anniversary upgrade. It has the following device status on Device Manager;

The software for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have a problem with Windows. Contact the hardware vendor for a new driver (Code 48).

I have been to hardware vendor and did the update still not working.

1) Does this card reader is detected by PC?

2) Does this Card reader is working in other PC?

3) What is the make and model of the PC?

I suggest you to install the Realtek PCIE driver for Windows 10 from manufacturer website and check if it makes any difference.

Unable to access RealTek PCIE card reader on Windows 10 with error: The software for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have problems with Windows, error code: 48

After upgrading to Windows 10 my card reader no longer works. On trying the troubleshooter I get the following message " The software for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have problems with Windows. Contact the hardware vendor
for a new driver. (Code 48)" Realtek have no answer !!

Anyone who can help PLEASE.
