Windows 10: Realtek PCIe GBE Family loses internet connectivity in windows 10

My internet connection keeps kicking out, I just built a new machine, running win 10 pro, clean install, based on some other things I have read I have unchecked allow the computer to turn off this device, disabled the green ethernet, energy efficient ethernet and set autodisable gigabit to RE, battery or AC. Still keeps disconnecting. Any help would be appreciated.

RealTek PCIe GBE Family Controller not working

I searched for "Realtek pcie GBE controller" in the search box on this site and found this -

I tried the last suggestion and it worked for me.

In control panel, hardware and sound, pc, it is showing the troubleshoot warning triangle. Right clck and select troubleshoot and it tells me

"Problem detected with Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller.

I have checked in 'advanced' etc, the driver is listed as Microsoft 10/05/2013, 8.1.510.2013 which is says is up-to-date.

Is there really a problem and if so what do I need to do?

I had a similar problem and had tried all the suggestions about re-installing drivers etc. In the end I stumbled on this which worked: I disabled Green Ethernet in the advanced settings of the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller Properties.
