    Realtek PCIe GbeFamily Controller not working


    I installed windows 10 on a new computer and the internet isn't working. I think I updated all the drivers, especially networking drivers that I could think of. When I go to settings -> view network properties it says Realtek PCIe GbeFamily Controller is not operational.


    What are some other things I could try to fix this?

    I searched for "Realtek pcie GBE controller" in the search box on this site and found this -

    Windows 10 Ethernet bug (Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller)

    I tried the last suggestion and it worked for me.

    Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller Problem Windows 10

    I had a similar problem and had tried all the suggestions about re-installing drivers etc. In the end I stumbled on this which worked: I disabled Green Ethernet in the advanced settings of the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller Properties.

    Realtek PCIe FE family controller for windows 10

    There are serious issues with the Realtek PCIe Family Controller and Windows 10, I am working with Realtek now to try and get this resolved.
