Windows 10: Realtek r microphone not showing up

Im on a laptop and the microphone was always working because it was built in. Today it wasn't working so i tried checking if it was on and it wasn't. I tried to turn it on and it said that it was not connected. I tried literally everything. Whenever i tried to go into "properties" it opens "Realtek r audio" not the microphone. It was working just the other day.Here's what i already tried:tried updating the driver there were no drivers to update to;did "microphone troubleshooting" it said it was not connected;checked "device manager" it wasn't there nor it was anywere except the sound

My laptop has two separate 3.5 jacks for speaker + microphone. However, the speaker jack can still operate the microphone if the headset has a built-in microphone (this is confirmed because I bought a used laptop)

i don't know since when i've had this problem, because i usually use type-c port headphones, and it works fine. I recently switched to 3.5mm type headphones

about my laptop having nahimic. i tried uninstall nahimic. then select input using realtek(R) audio microphone. however the microphone still doesn't work, so the problem I'm having is definitely not nahimic related

Driver update shows the driver name (realtek high definition audio). but when restarting the laptop, the driver still shows the name realtek (r) audio.

Is that really normal?

Hi I want to know how I can download Microphone Array (Realtek(R) Audio) for a PC that does not have it already installed but it has a microphone, Can anyone help ASAP?
