Windows 10: Realtek RTL8411B running at 10/100Mbps

    Windows 10 seems to have borked my wired ethernet - this is supposed to be a Gigabit adapter, but it's only running at 100Mbps now.

    Slow wifi after latest major Windows 10 update

    Hi,

    Since the major Windows 10 update, my wifi download and upload speed is much slower (tested ~5mbps download on wireless compared to 100mbps with ethernet cable plugged in). I have tried updating the wireless card driver, but it says it is up to date. I get
    the same speed results using different browsers (Firefox and Edge). Judging by previous comments I guess this is a problem with the Realtek wireless card driver. Details are:

    - Windows 10 Home version 1511

    -Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC

    - No antivirus or firewall running except Windows Defender

    Any suggestions much appreciated

    Hi,

    Just after a bit of advise/help. My Lenovo All in one network connection is running like a dog. If I connect wirelessly I get max 58mbps, if I connect via Ethernet I get 100mbps but anything else I connect to the same network, I get 300mbps.

    Tried updating the driver, resetting the router, stopping/start the DNS service, no difference.

    What else can I try?

    Realtek RTL8188CE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC or Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller
