    My Lenovo P620 uses the Realtek ALC 4050H Codec and the rear speakers are not working correctly with the Realtek driver. The speakers will make a click or popping sound after 10 seconds. Then any Windows sound… getting an email, plugging in a device or even playing a song, about 1 second of sound is missing or truncated. My feeling is the driver is allowing some sort of sleep state after 10 seconds and it taking about 1 second for the device to be active again. I’m presently using the Windows USB Audio 2.0 driver because it doesn’t make popping sound or miss playing the first second of audio.

    USB Audio Codec Driver

    After following all these steps, my usb audio device still does not work. In Settings > Connected devices it list USB Audio Codec Driver is unavailable.

    I followed the directions in the link, but I do not have the USB Audio Codec even listed.

    USB audio CODEC

    Hi,

    I have Alesis M1 520 USB speakers. Untill last update they worked fine. Now they don't work.

    I get sound on headphones connected to audio jack (Realtek motherboadr sound)

    When I switch to digial audio in Realtek menu nothing happens.

    On Device manager I get two devices that are incorrect>

    USB audio codec (cannot be undated automatically)

    Audio device on high definition audio Bus (Windows finds driver but fails to update)

    Any ideas how to fix this please?
