Windows 10: Realtek wi fi dropping out

realtek wi fi adaptor constantly dropping out, i have to keep unplugging and re plugging to get it going. is it my computer or is the adaptor ****?

HP Pavilion / Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter / Drops Wi-Fi frequently.

To all of you who have Wi-Fi dropping the internet connection on Windows 10 after migration from Windows 8.1.

Do not ask solution for this question to Microsoft. Sorry to say, these nuts at Microsoft with so called certified MVPs will just waste your time filling up 4 pages of nonsense answers. They haven't evolved since windows 7 and they ask you to follow the
same steps what we use t do ages before.

In short, fresh installation(Format HD) of latest windows 10 on HP pavilion with Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter will still keep disconnecting.

So forget about all those stupid steps like network reset, driver reinstall blah blah blah blah as fresh install needn't need all those ****.

This issue could be due to the Wi-Fi driver is outdated. Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if it helps resolving the issue. I suggest you to update the Wi-Fi driver manually and check if it helps. Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Now click on Network adaptor and right click on it and
  Wi-Fi driver and update the driver.

Windows 10 upgrade from 8.1 Realtek RTL8188EE WI-FI keeps dropping out

Running HP Pavilion laptop with a Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 bgn WI-FI adapter. For over a month now WI-FI has been dropping out. Sometimes just turning the WI-FI back on would restore the connection. Then other time rebooting was necessary. Then the big one
a SYSTEM RESTORE was needed to retrieve the adapter back into the DEVICE MANAGER, SCAN FOR HARDWARE CHANGES wouldn't bring it back.

• Have tried the NETWORK TROUBLE SHOOTER (Got stuck on COLLECTING CONFIGURATION DETAILS, rebooted after waiting an hour).
• Ran CMD as ADMIN Cmd>netsh winsock reset (System wouldn't finish shutting down on RESTART (have to POWER off and restart).
• DISABLED the WI-FI adapter then uninstalled the driver and deleted the driver. Downloaded the latest driver from REALTEK 2023.15.701.2015 installed as WINDOWS 8 Compatibility mode.

Can't believe I am the only one with this problem. Does anyone know the real solution to this problem?

I am tied to the router via a hard line. Seems to be counter to the idea of laptop and WI-FI. Oh, have several other devices connected to the same router one being a HP PRO tablet running Windows 10. That has no connection problems. All within 15 feet of
each other.
