Windows 10: Rear and front IO sound not working. (with video content)

So my rear and front io dont work properly with speakers plugged in. I already established that the problem first was that i had hdmi sound on. Someone on tomshardware was kind enough of telling me that. Now i turned off my hdmi devices (i hope that i did that correct at least) and set my speakers as default. Unfortunatly the problem still excists. the sound stutters. i have my manufacturers latest audio driver installed, I also have the realtek control panel. i have no idea what to do and so did the helper on tomshardware. he sent me here as he thought that you guys are good with audio problems. i made a video that shows my problem. No sound from rear speakers


Sorry for your troubles. All I can suggest is to check the drivers to make sure all is current and correct, and then to check settings to make sure all of your channels (front left, center, front right, rear left, rear right) are properly assigned and working. If I were in your shoes, I would uninstall the audio drivers, then reinstall them to see if that helps. Otherwise clueless, so forgive my suggestions if they prove unhelpful.

Realtek Digital Outputs - Rear and Front Jacks Reversed

I suggest you to uninstall the driver software and reinstall and check if it helps.

If the issue still persists, follow the below steps:

• Type Control Panel in search box and press Enter.
• Click on Sound.
• In Playback tab, click on speakers and click on
  properties.
• Click on Level tab and check if the rear input is set to mute and uncheck it.
• Select the level to 100% and check if the rear speaker works fine.
