    Hi!I've been using a headset with a splitter for headphones and microphone for quite a while now. I had the cables plugged in the rear panel jacks and they were working nicely, but recently when I tried to record myself on Voice Recorder I noticed that even though I could hear everything clearly with my headphones on other applications, I suddenly wasn't getting any input from my microphone It was fully functional a few hours before that on a meeting. I thought my headset's microphone could be the problem so I swapped the microphone with Apple earpods, and while I was able to hear myself ag

    It's connected via jack.

    Yes, I have tried both the front and rear jacks.

  3. Cant Use Rear Jack For Microphone

    I am using Dell Optiplex 780 with Windows 10 64 Bit on it.

    When i try to connect my microphone to the rear panel i can see microphone is connected in Recording devices but i cant record audio.

    I ca record audio if i connect it to the front panel.

    I followed all steps mentioned at Rear panel not working, how to enable rear panel microphone?

    What is the make/model of microphone you are using? Is this connected to the MIC jack or USB?
    Have you tried both the rear Pink mic jack and the front panel mic jacks?
