  1. Reboot/Restart Restore Task View Desktops

When rebooting or restarting Windows as part of various Updates WIndows, Norton, etc the current State is remembered, and items that were active or open are properly restored. However, when Multitasking with Virtual Desktops, this information is not remembered. All windows are opened in a single Desktop. Obviously, it would be preferred that each restore to the proper desktop that was previously hosting that window.System: Windows 11 Pro, version 24H2, build 26100.3476.

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

Restoring Tasks in Multiple Desktop views

I am using several Desktop views when working on several programs and activities. For example, may have a desktop open with MATLAB applications, another with Arduino apps, and so on. When I power down, all of the current work files and sessions are lost.

How can I restore previous task windows, including files and apps, automatically or with a single action, without reverting to opening them individually via the history feature in task view?

Alternatively, is there a tool that allows me to open several virtual windows so that, when I power up I can restore them to the previous session states?

    Task View

It's the Task View, not the Task Bar, that is the problem. I should be getting the popup (right clicking on Task View) showing the options for additional Desktops, not the five options for the Task Bar. A 'chat' with MS Solutions said that I should reinstall
Windows 10 to MAYBE correct this problem. Any suggestions to correct?? Thanks for your interest...I really appreciate it.
The Task View is the only feature that I may like on 10!!
