    Received a phone call stating my computer wsa hijacked


    Today I received a phone voice mail stating someone was trying to hijack my computer would steal my personal information if I did not call a Microsoft security team at number: 201-297-5455.


    I hesitate to call this number as I have not noticed any suspicious activity on my PC or Hotmail. There were mis-spellings and incorrect grammar on the voice mail and am wondering if you know anything about this?

    Browser hijacked by safesurfs.com Malware

    After reading what you went through I would strongly suggest you read the advice of Monkey57 and try his steps. Normally

    Browser hijackers     don't show this kind of behavior and more could be going on. Normally I don't suggest Resetting your computer but in this case....

    Supported phones for Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview


    Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.
