Discus and support received strange email copied below in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; Is this legitimate? I have not clicked on anything.     If you prefer not to disable " leave a copy on the server " suggestion, then I would suggest that you ask the question at Microsoft Community , Office forum where the forum is exclusively dedicated to Office Outlook 2016...............

    Long delay in receiving email notifications

    I thought it was strange that I did not get any emails yesterday on any of my sub'd threads. Now today I haven't received any either so something is not working correctly...

    Receiving multiple copies of some emails


    I am having exact same issue. Windows 10, Outlook 16, GoDaddy email account. It's so strange that it happens to some emails but not all; maybe 40% of mine.

    I don't want to change it to IMAP from POP3, or have copies removed from the server. That's bogus!

    No other known solution????
