Windows 10: Receiving an error message when attempting to use HP support assistant -2147219196

Lucky me, I've encountered issues with attempting to use HP support assistant. The software would not open and when it did it was momentarily.

Had difficulty in trying to uninstall. Finally uninstalled and re-installed and now getting the error code -2147219196.

Anybody have a fix for that or any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Previously had an issue with dns server and after trying many fixes, I decided to run a system restore. Even called HP for assistance. Was told that they would charge me for that type of support. I was furious, brand new computer, have had for less than one month and I'm not covered for that.

I opted to do a system restore and, so far-so good.


But now cannot run HP support assistant. Just another day.

File System error (-2147219196)

Just started receiving this error message; File System error (-2147219196) - when double-clicking on .jpg images in File Explorer any suggestions?

Support Assist.

My support assist is not responding.

When I attempted to go to my control panel and programs I looked for H support to repair and I do not have an HP support list in my programs at all.

What is my next step please?
