    Receiving an message asking me for username and password


    Hello

    When I type one of my websites into the browser a message pops up, in a box saying your website blah blah server is asking for a user name and password


    and when other people type in my website details into their browser they receive the same message asking for a username and password.


    How can I disable this feature ? What caused it?


    What do i need to do ?

    Why is windows security asking for username and password

    Hi,

    To isolate the issue, please provide the following information:

    • Are you referring to either the Microsoft Security Essentials or the Windows Defender? If not, please specify which Windows security utility is asking for your username and password.
    • Does the issue also occur when you try to connect to other Wi-Fi networks?
    • What username and password is being asked (e.g. Microsoft Account, etc.)? If it's other than your Microsoft Account, please specify which account.
    • What happens when you try to enter your username and password?
    • Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue?

    • Can you give us the screenshot of the dialog box that ask for username and password?
    • Are you able to view the files that are available on your USB?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    Receiving an message asking me for username and password

    Wifi asking for username and password

    I have hunted for months to find an answer to this. I normally just turn the wifi router on and off hundreds of times but I can't be bothered anymore.

    Sometimes when I'm trying to connect to the wifi it asks for username and password. I don't know what it could mean though, I have tried username and password for the router (obviously), I have tried it with my username and password on the computer but nothing
    works. If anyone could help it would really be appreciated
