Windows 10: Receiving high latency ping when opening the windows wi-fi menu.

Eveytime I open the wi-fi menu, the one located in the bottom right of your screen, I receive high amounts of ping until I close it. I'm also getting a lot of issues with wi-fi recently regarding my USB ports and my USB adapter, maybe these problems are connected, maybe bot.I hope you can help me,Thanks in advance,

Ping spiking on Wi-Fi connection network

I am writing to seek assistance with a persistent issue I have been experiencing regarding my internet connectivity. Despite being connected to a Wi-Fi network in close proximity to the router, I am encountering significant latency problems that are adversely affecting my online activities.

To provide you with more details, I have noticed that the ping latency fluctuates from an acceptable 25 milliseconds to an alarming range of approximately 160-190 milliseconds(ping google.com). These latency spikes have a detrimental impact on my online gaming experience, causing frequent freezes and disruptions. In day-to-day tasks such as video streaming, the impact of this high latency is not noticeable.

I have taken several troubleshooting steps to address the issue on my own. Firstly, I have ensured that my device's Wi-Fi drivers are up to date. Additionally, I have attempted to move closer to the router to eliminate any potential signal strength issues. However, these attempts have not yielded the desired results, and the problem persists.

Given the severity of the latency spikes, I kindly request your expertise and guidance in resolving this matter. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions, recommendations, or steps you can provide to help me restore a stable and reliable internet connection. Please let me know if there are any specific diagnostic tests or information I can provide to assist in identifying the root cause of this problem.
