    Recent and pinned files are not Avialble After Windows Update


    I had a Windows 10 update earlier this week. Prior to the update I could right click any MS app Word, Excel, PowerPoint on my desktop and instantly see pinned files and recent files. A great shortcut to frequently used files. All that is gone. Now when I right click an app on my desktop I get nothing. Now I must first start the MS app, and "then" I can select to open a recent file or favorite. This adds an additional step every time I open a recent Word, Excel or PowerPoint file. I have checked the Advanced Display settings in all three MS apps, and they appear correct. And I create

    you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

    or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.
