Recent New Install of Windows 10 Home broke my RAID drive

My long story is too long; I could share it to anyone interested. This is the short story and it's still long: My configuration is a system drive and applications on C: an SSD and a RAID 1 drive 2 WD 6 TB drives on D: for my data. While trying to upgrade the OS on the system drive to Windows 10 Home, my RAID drive was broken and subsequently showed up as 2 discreate drives now D; and E:. If that was my only problem, I could deal with it. However. The drives were also corrupted somehow. After a successful install of Windows 10 Home on C: and activated with a legitimate key, I was

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

Raid 1 broken after Windows 10 install

Same, I have a hardware RAID array and the update last October split the disks in the array. I copied all the data to an external drive, rebuilt the RAID with my on-board controller, and then copied the data back. I just installed the most recent Microsoft
"feature", and it broke by RAID again. How about Microsoft creates a new feature where Windows Updates don't break things? That would be a novel achievement. Of course, the Microsoft support staff blames everything except for the OS. This is Windows 10, I
thought it was supposed to be about progress and improvement.
