Windows 10: Recent onset: fan runs more, slow navigation, and video conferencing issues

Hello,As of about a week ago, my navigation between files and folders offline and my online work speed has diminished. When I try to type something, for example, there is a long lag tie between my typing and the characters showing up on the screen. My fan seems to begin running sooner and more often than previously as well.Also, in video conferences, my audio is cackly and my video lags and freezes, but I have no trouble seeing or hearing anyone else clearly.I have reduced the number of startup programs and am using far fewer browser windows/tabs than I normally due to see if this was the prob

Video Issues in Windows 10 With Firefox

Please provide the following information with us to understand the issue better.

• 
  Is the issue occurs in Microsoft Edge?
  

• 
  Let us know whether the issue is specific to online videos or it is happening with other videos present in your system too?
  
  As the initial troubleshooting steps, I would suggest you to check all the available Windows Updates. Installation of recent Windows Updates should fix the issue.
  
  If the issue still persists, then try updating the Display driver and check. Here is the steps:
  

• Press Windows Key + R on your desktop screen to go to run command box.
• Type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
• In Display Adapter, expand Display Adapter, right-click , and then click
  Update.

If the issues persists ,only with firefox then i suggest you to contact firefox support.

Select sound for video conferencing with Windows 10

This is Wil, one of the independent advisor, an expert with Windows 10 and a fellow Windows 10 user like you. I understand your concern about sound for video conferencing.

Digital Outputs refer to high definition digital audio devices, which do not use regular (analog) cables to connect to computers. For example, a TV with an HDMI connection, or a high definition audio system, like a home theater system.

If your computer only uses a speaker, you should not select Digital Output. If you are having a problem with no sound on video conferencing, may I ask what application are you using for the video conference? Check as well if that particular application is muted
on the volume mixer. Open the video conferencing app that you are using where you are having a sound issue. Right-click on the sound icon on the system tray (bottom-right part beside date and time) and choose volume mixer. Make sure that all sounds for all
applications are not muted.
