    Recent update noow disallows use of programs


    Levono computer, came with Windows 10. Open Office was installed and has been my only source for documents/correspondence. The last update that Microsoft forced on me is requiring the purchase of Microsoft Office to get access to Open Office. Is there away around this?

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    i just installed cod4 on my laptop through steam and i keep getting kicked by punk buster for a disallowed program/driver about 10 minutes into the game. how do i fix this?
