Windows 10: Recently fixed my pc, App Store different region, not able to sign in help?

Got my pc fixed today with a working display, can’t access my account or sign in for there is a message saying there is a Java script error. I’m not able to access anything on my, nor am I able to update my pc either!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble signing in to your Microsoft account on the App Store and encountering a JavaScript error.

First of all, when you say App Store, do you mean Microsoft Store? If that's the case, you can try the following:

- System File Checker (SFC) and DISM: Run the System File Checker (SFC) and Deployment Image Service and Management Tool (DISM) to check and repair system files. Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files - Microsoft Support

- Reset Microsoft Store cache: Press Windows logo key + R to open the Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.

- Make sure the time and region settings on your computer are correct. Incorrect settings may cause synchronization issues with the server, affecting your access and login.

- Creating a new user account is an effective troubleshooting step because it can help determine whether the problem is related to the entire system or just to a specific user account. Please follow the steps below to create a new user account: Create a local user or administrator account in Windows - Microsoft Support



If the problem does not exist under the new account, the problem may be related to your previous user profile. In this case, you can try to repair or reset the profile of your existing user account, or continue using a newly created account.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
