Windows 10: Recently I have been lag spiking in gaming and I don't know what to do about it.

I have tried many different methods including resetting my router, checking for viruses, and increasing my performance on my pc. I am worried about my pc and I hoping to have it fixed soon.

We would like to know more about your lag issue:

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

Americas Army lag spikes?

I play AA (Americas Army) all the time, and recently I have been getting these lag spikes, that I used to not get. Anybody know why? It will jump, then it will go back to do what it does. Not a big deal, but any suggestions would be helpful.

 

Lag spike causes lag in a game

So the story is very simple, from time to time I have a huge "lag" in the game and it lasts for like 1 second. This is very annoying. I've done some investigating and it turns out that during the lag, there's a huge spike on a disk usage caused by the same game. Is there any way to avoid the lag? Or is it just a game issue?
