Windows 10: Recently i started getting bsod while playing games how to fix this?

• Does the BSOD occur while playing a particular game?
• Is the game downloaded from Windows Store?

I suggest you to update the Graphic Card drivers by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.

how do you reinstall games that we bought the game disk for but no longer have but are in our profile under recently played list, or can we play/reinstall games played recently in our profile without game disk ?

 

Recurrent BSOD on trying to play some games

Hello, I have been having recurrent BSOD recently when trying to play some games recently. It started with a game called 'DarkTide' and I would get an error when it was launching while 'Building shader cache'. It would let me into the game however after giving an error code. Yet, I noticed after a few times of doing this a BSOD would occur. Also some games randomly crash do desktop after a period of playing (I'm thinking this is related to the same issue) possibly?

I have searched and searched on the net for resolutions but none of them have fixed the issue. I have done several things to try:

1. Clean installed my graphic drivers and software
   
2. Repair installed Windows 11
   
3. Clean installed DarkTide
   

None of these things have worked however the Cache Builder for Darktide DOES get farther along the percentage before the crash (initially it was low 30s% now it is 70-80% before crash). I tried using Driver Verifier but almost got stuck in a BSOD reboot cycle even before Windows would launch, fortunately I have a laptop and could make a boot-able USB.

I am concerned this is a RAM issue as I have read some people fixed this problem by getting new RAM. I am going to run the memory diagnostic tool shortly but wanted to post this first.
