Windows 10: Recently my laptop detected a severe virus using defender, but for some reason i'm not able...

Recently my laptop detected a severe virus using defender, but for some reason i'm not able to delete that virus from system...what should i do? I click on the action button and select remove but apparently, the virus is not removed...

There is malware on my dell inspiron laptop, Windows Defender could not detect it, Anti-Virus cannot be installed.

After installation of demon tool my dell inspiron 5559 laptop, , it is not working as it was earlier. Following are the symptoms :

• On opening Firefox web browser, 2-3 tabs automatically opens , one of them has become homepage but on changing the homepage from the options menu, it shows default homepage is firefox.
• laptop heats up when kept idle, battery also drains within an hour.
• Windows Defender scanned whole laptop but it could not detect any malware, virus.
• I tried installing an anti virus but the message prompt that "this publisher has been blocked from installing software on this machine."
• Action Centre tab ON-OFF option is greyed out.

My laptop has genuine Win 10 pre-installed. I tried to install several Anti-virus but none of them were allowed to install, Hence the simple task of detecting Malware, Virus etc. on Win 10 has become complicated. Need Your assistance.
