Windows 10: Recently ran into a BSOD error saying: "What failed: FLTMGR.SYS". Unable to boot into...

I had simply put my system to "install updates and restart", after that process was done, my system faced a BSOD error with a message which says: What failed: FLTMGR.SYSSince then I have not been able to boot into windows. Everytime I try to restart, my system fails to start and says "your PC needs to be repaired".

hey davem121 i fix the bsod through registry remote the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\FltMgr Start was on 4 which mean disable i change to 0 and remove ObjectName and OS booted Thanks A lot !

 

HELP : BsOD error on boot: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (NETwew02.sys)

Hello,

Operating system: Windows 8.1

Laptop: HP ProBook 450 G1

Few days ago Windows did some upgrades, ever since i keep getting the

BsOD error on boot: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (NETwew02.sys),

and i can manage to boot the system only on Safe Mode.

I read that it's about the Intel Wifi driver... i downloaded a new driver from HP page, uninstalled the existing one, deleted the NETwew02.sys from the drivers folder and Registry also and installed the new one. The laptop booted normally once and then the
same BsOD error again and again....

Any suggestions ?? Plz help

Welcome to the 10forums.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
   • Double click the executable to open it
   • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window


AVG is trying to request data from the internet, which is why the network driver is marked as the cause.

Please uninstall AVG and see if it helps
