Windows 10: Reclaim License key from deleted VMware Workstation machine.

HiI installed Window 10 Pro with my license key in a VMWare Workstation machine.There was some issue with the Workstation so I ended deleting my the virtual machine, however, when I installed new Virtual machine Virtual box this time and tried to use the same license, it says that my license key is already used.I can see the VMware Virtual machine on Microsoft Account still. How do I de-register it from my MS account and reclaim the license?I can see the option to Unlink the Virtual machine, but I think it simply unlink from my account and the license would still be tied with the deleted V

Transfer Windows 10 license to vmware workstation

I would like to transfer my license from my laptop to a virtual machine (VMware Workstation). My hard drive failed on my laptop and I have decided to run Windows 10 under a virtual machine instead fo directly on the laptop.

I installed Windows 10 on a virtual machine, but it did not find the license (expected).

Is there a way to transfer the license for the laptop to the virtual machine? Or is there a way to capture the license from the data on the former hard drive? It appears that some or all of the data is on the hard drive, but the laptop will not boot off
of it.

MS Windows 10 pro license for Virtual Machines on a PC (Laptop CAD Workstation)

Hi

We would like to know which MS Windows 10 Pro license type is required for a virtual machine , which is installed on a Laptop (heavy CAD workstation) via VMware Workstation Pro software.

Currently we have used the workstation OEM Windows 10 Pro license key, but activation cannot be performed, why some settings cannot be used in the OS.
