Hello,I’m looking for guidance on how many Compliance Policies it’s safe to assign to a single device or user in Microsoft Intune without degrading endpoint performance or causing synchronization failures. Background:We manage dozens of Compliance Policies BitLocker, Cisco Secure Client, biometric login, etc. across our environment.Recently, we observed that devices with a high number of assigned policies sometimes take significantly longer to evaluate compliance and occasionally fail to sync with Intune. There doesn’t appear to be any official documentation from Microsoft outlining a hard lim

    Intune Compliance Policy Preview?

Presuming I've onboarded a device to Intune, but haven't bound it to a compliance policy yet, is there a way to preview the device's compliance applicable settings through the Intune portal?

Here's the scenario: We're going onboarding devices, some are BYOD, some are not and some are used by high-ranking personnel, within our org.

I onboarded a test device with a handful of compliance settings set. I see that Intune remediated many of the non-compliant settings on the test machine - this is both a boon and a curse. It's good that the settings were remediated, but I'd hate for that to happen on a user's machine (especially an executive's machine!) without them expecting it.

I was hoping to find a way to onboard a device to intune, and review the devices' compliance related settings (ie: simple passwords or whether the firewall was enabled) before adding the device to a compliance policy, so that I can get a feel for which users we'll have to schedule and guide through the changes they may notice.

In my initial test, i didn't enable any of the compliance settings, and nothing gets reported under the device > device compliance. I added a few more settings and can now see which were originally compliant, which were remediated, and which need user intervention to make compliant.

It would be helpful to see (using my above example), whether a device is allowing simple passwords or doesn't have it's firewall enabled, before adding it to compliance policy that would change those settings.

    Thanks in advance!

  3. OneDrive Sign in and Sync policy via Intune not working

    Hi

I am trying to configure OneDrive policy through Intune and getting errors.

OneDrive is not silently signing in and syncing for Azure AD user.

Neither are known folders being redirected as per policy.

    Nothing happens.

    Any advice?

    Thanks

  4. Recommended limit for number of Compliance Policies in Intune to avoid performance or sync...

Why is my device showing as not compliant with the Intune Windows Compliance Policy for BitLocker and how can I resolve the data storage encryption error (Error 2016281112 - Remediation Failed)?

I’m currently experiencing issues with the Intune Windows Compliance Policy, specifically regarding BitLocker. My device is showing as not compliant and I’m receiving an error related to data storage encryption (Error 2016281112 - Remediation Failed).

In addition to this, I’m seeing two errors in the BitLocker API on my computer. In the Event Viewer, I’ve noticed errors 806 and 778. It appears that the BitLocker Volume C: was reverted to an unprotected state. Furthermore, the BitLocker resealed boot settings to the TPM in the Windows Recovery Environment. The reseal time is listed as 1601-01-01T00:00:54:365Z.

I’m unsure of how to proceed with these issues and would appreciate any guidance or troubleshooting steps that could help resolve these problems. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
