Windows 10: Recon 70 ps5-ps4

I was told this headset is cross compatible I own a pc and ps4 my ps is down right now so i can't test to see if they're faulty but I was just curios if they will actually work with my laptop. I went to sound setting and its not even saying they're plugged in :/ PLEASE NOTE THIS NOT JUST ABOUT THE MIC. Thank you!!

PS5 question

Expensive time ahead with both new Xbox and PS5 ahead. I’ll be under pressure from the family to get one or eventually both of these. Probably an unknown at the moment but say I bought my son Fifa 21 or FIFA 22 Digitally (or any game released on both platforms) on PS5. Would he still be able to download the PS4 version to his PS4 console? So in effect we own the digital game for all versions of the PlayStation (specifically talking about the PS4 and 5 as opposed to the old ps3)?

 

PS5 question

FIFA 21 will be coming out early next month. If you buy the PS4 game (disc or digitally), you can play the game on the PS5 as well since the PS5 is backwards compatible. Sony have not come out with the price of the console yet, but Microsoft have released their prices for the xbox.

 

PS4 external play options

MKV is a container format which can hold unlimited number of video, audio, picture, or subtitle tracks in one file, but PS4 can play MKV files with the following specification:

• H.264/MPEG-4 AVC High Profile Level 4.2
• MP3, AAC LC, AC-3 (Dolby Digital)

Once the MKV you add to PS4 does not meet the above requirements, the problem occurs.

To solve the issue, there are many methods and here list two of them:

Install it and then point it at one of your MKV files and convert to one of the preset MP4 defaults in the Handbrake sidebar. Under "Regular" you should be fine with "Normal" or "High Profile" settings.
