Windows 10: Record internal audio with Rust

Hi guys, I wanted to find a way to record only laptop audio without external noises. Is there a way to do this with the windows crate in Rust?

• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

Cannot record internal audio

I haven't the words to describe how much I despise Windows 10.

To add to the long, LONG list of **** that this horrid OS has ruined in my short time of using it: audio recording.

Firstly: even FINDING "manage audio devices" is now like pulling teeth, thanks for that.

Upon finding it: I find that both "stereo mix" is missing, and multiple programs no longer support audio loopback... so apparently if I want to record internal audio I just get to wait on you chuckleheads to fix this.

Thanks. I'll bill you for lost time then shall I?

 

Audio Recorder is not working

From what you have mentioned, I would suggest you to try these steps to see if it resolves the issue

Method 1: Hardware Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with recording. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your recording.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel
• Run the Recording Audio troubleshooter

I suggest you to install all the latest audio and Display drivers from the manufacturer web site and install.
