Windows 10: Recording a live speech using my Windows 10 laptop camera

Hi Community,I will be attending the official opening of an exhibition and I would like to video record the opening speeches using my laptop, rather than my phone.I have discovered how to record a video using my camera, but the only option seems to be front image. Is there a way to switch to reverse image so that I can record the speaker. The only way I can find is to face the laptop towards the speaker, but surely there is another way?Grateful for any advice.Best,Sharon R.

I suggest you to use the Voice recorder app in Windows 10 to record the speech.

To use the Voice recorder app, you will need to connect a microphone ( if it is a desktop) or internal in the case of laptop because most of the laptop comes with internal microphone.

• Press Windows+X key on the keyboard
• Click on control panel
• Select speech recognition
• On the left hand pane you will see Advance speech option

How to open camera and start camera recording in windows 10 using commands

The Camera app in Windows 10 helps you to take pictures, record videos, or stream video while video chatting. To open the Camera, follow these steps:

• Right-click on the Start button and choose Run.
• Enter this command in the Run dialog box: microsoft.windows.camera:.
• Click OK.

Automatic recording is unavailable in the Camera app. To record videos, you first have to switch to
Video mode. Tap the Video button from the right side of the app’s window.
