    Recording has timed out message appearing on lock screen


    After the recent windows 2004 update a message has started to appear on my lock screen which says

    "Recording has timed out please try again"

    what is this message for and how to fix it.

    Recording has timed out message appearing on lock screen

    Mysterious Windows logon message "Recording has timed out, please try again"

    Every time I sit down to logon to my PC recently I see a message on the lock screen stating "Message recording has timed out, please try again". Nothing should be recording on my PC.

    When I perform a search for the message there are zero hits, which is very odd. Typically any error message you can imagine has a history on the web. What does this mean and how do I stop it?
