Windows 10: Recover EFS encrypted data after crash

Hi everyone ,i have a very common problem that have already been signaled in here but situation is a bit different. I had to reinstall my win 10 after a big crash of my OS. There were some encrypted files on it very important ones . I've not made anything special prior to the crash to save any certificate BUT i can see the certificates available in my windows.old. I imported the one who made the encryption but unfortunately i still cant decrypt the data and i dont know why... Am i wrong on something ? Is there any way to decrypt the datas encrypted with the windows.old available ??? many t

The Encrypting File System (EFS) is a built-in encryption tool for Windows. It is used to encrypt files and folders on your computer. You can reverse the encryption to access your files again. To decrypt folders, follow the steps below:

• Right-click the folder or file, then click Properties.
• Click the General tab, then click Advanced.
• Uncheck the Encrypt contents to secure data checkbox.
• If you are decrypting folders, select the option Apply changes to this folder, subfolder and files.
• Click OK, then click OK again to exit the window.
