Windows 10: Recover files at Download due to Disk Cleanup

Dear all,

Is that any possible way to recover the document that located on the download folder.

I clean it during the disk cleanup.

It was suck when I update to the latest version of the windows.

Why put the "download" folder into the disk cleanup


I have try baseus, getdataback, and recuva. They did recover my data. But cant read at all.

I dont know what is the problem, it is due to the SSD? (I see it from some other forum)

My download folder is located at the main drive which is C drive as well as the boot system also install on C, download folder also under C drive of coz

Please asists me if anybody try successful to recover and any way to avoid this from delete my files at download folder.

Screw it rubbish window update features.

Rest assured, it is totally safe to delete everything suggested by the Disk Cleanup Process, please tun the Disk Cleanup twice as explained below, please remember to untick your Downloads folder if you actually store files in that folder . . .

Open File Explorer

Click on your hard drive

On the Manage Tab, click Cleanup

Let Disk Cleanup do its initial scan

Select Everything in the list and choose Delete

Start Disk Cleanup again

Let Disk Cleanup do its initial scan

This time in the resulting dialog, click 'Cleanup System Files'

Let Disk Cleanup run another scan

Select Everything in the list and choose Delete

Hi joysoder, to properly and safely delete any files not required by your system, run Disk Cleanup twice as explained below. Each time select everything in the list and delete them. Disk Cleanup will not suggest deleting anything that is not safe to delete
