    all of the sudden my XPS 13 will not boot to windows. It started out of the blue (no updates, no hardware changes, literally nothing) It booted into windows RE a few times after failing Auto Repair. It no longer does that and now does the Dell Support assist (Showing No errors and my only options are factory Reset)



    I dont have a backup of these files, they are not mission critical but would very much like to have them. I have tried all of the options in Windows RE including using notepad to check out the directories. C:/ is unreachable I think because it is encrypted. When I try to do a windows reset it says preparing for like 2 seconds then goes back to the RE menu. I have also tried a Linux USB but again cannot access the drive. are there any work arounds?
