    Recover OneDrive


    My ex’s dad had a Microsoft subscription that my email was linked to. I purchased my own subscription and unlinked my account, then signed in with my new subscription key that I had bought. Now I can’t see any of my files or photos or anything I had backed up on one drive, including important photos of my daughter when she was born. Is there a way I can recover this? Please help :

    Windows 10 - OneDrive

    Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

    If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

    How can I recover archive-ready files removed by OneDrive?

    Hi Eli, my name is John D. an independent advisor happy to help you with this.

    I would suggest you try the following steps to recover your files:

    > Check the OneDrive recycle bin: If the files are present there, you can restore them to your local machine.

    > Check the OneDrive folder on your computer: If the OneDrive folder is still on your computer, you can look for the "Deleted" folder to see if your files are still there. If they are, you can restore them.

    > Check the Windows File History backup: If you had Windows File History enabled, it might have taken a backup of your files. You can access these backups and restore your files from there.

    Please note that the chances of success decrease if the files have been deleted a long time ago or if the hard drive has been overwritten with new data.

    I hope these steps help you recover your files.
