Windows 10: recover saved over original piture in paint windows 10

Had a picture with 4 pictures on it, I was removing each picture to make 4 individual pictures, but wanted to save the original too. After removing one picture off the page, I was going to go back to original picture (w/4 pics.), but Paint* asked if I wanted to 'save' my new picture and of course I did. So, I clicked sav e or ok or yes or whatever and it totally replaced the original picture with the 4 pictures on it. Can I get these back and how? Please, Help, these pictures cannot be replaced and are very important to me. Thank you.

Cannot edit images when saved in Fresh paint

Hi Kamila,

As per the information, I understand that when you save an image drawn in Fresh Paint, you are unable to edit the image once saved.

If the above is true, I suggest that you follow the steps below to save the image in a manner that will allow you to edit it.

• To save your painting right click on fresh paint and click on
  Save as. You will get an option to select the location.
• Select the location and save the painting.
• When you reopen fresh paint you will be on the painting you used before closing fresh paint. If you do not get the painting, you may click on image and go to the location and select the image to edit.

Recover deleted paintings

Hello,

To answer your question regarding getting back deleted paintings, check the situations provided below:

• If you accidentally clear your painting while you're working on it with the
  Clear button, just click the Undo button at the bottom middle of the canvas and your painting will reappear right where you left off.
  

• If you uninstall Fresh Paint, you’ll lose all of the paintings saved in the Fresh Paint Gallery. If you plan to uninstall Fresh Paint and want to keep your paintings, use the
  Export button to save them to another location, like a folder on your hard drive or an external drive. You’ll need to save your paintings one-by-one. Paintings are saved in a file format called PNG and can be viewed opened by most photo and
  image programs and apps files..
  
• If you accidentally delete a painting from the home page gallery, a painting deleted from the home page gallery is gone for good.

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.
