Windows 10: recover unvisible HDD partition

I used windows backup option and created it onto my external hdd, and windows created 32gb FAT partition onto I: 4tb NTFS hdd. Now there is 32gb FAT partition visible, but other disk is unvisible. I erased that 32gb partition and tried every possible way recuva, diskdrill, stellar etc to recover my 3,6tb NTFS hdd. It finds the files, but without original names and folder structure. And i have not written any new data onto I: besides this pointless 32gb backup thing Is there some possible way to recover my 4tb HDD?

recover data from formated / del partition HDD

For my Laptop HDD, 500GB Samsung,

this hdd had gone exteremly slow...
So i was trying out installation of fresh Win7 & Ubuntu...
In this process mistakenly i formatted the HDD and delelted the partition...

There was some important data on the HDD partition..

Is there anyway i can recover some of the important data ? any software which can recover it from RAW?

Thanks for your reply. I used my m8s program and it worked like a dream, recovered all the files and also deleted ones from yrs back, was amazed how well it did. Next step is i will use that Partition Table Doctor to recover the deleted partition. Thanks for the link *Toast :toast:

 

W7 Hard drive partition issue

to get rid of that 100 meg windows partition that setup creates for you on a new install on a blank hdd:

- press shift+f10 when on the partition management screen in setup <-- this opens a command prompt
- diskpart <-- start the windows command line partition management tool
- list disk <--- list the installed hdds in this computer for the next step
- select disk 0 <- might have to replace 0 with the number of the correct disk
- clean <-- this will erase all data on the disk you selected one step up- dont use the wrong disk!
- create partition primary <- creates a primary partition taking up all space on the drive, adjust the command if necessary
- exit, exit to exit diskpart and the command prompt
- click refresh in partition manager and select your newly created partition and install to that
