Windows 10: Recovered to windows 8 on laptop that came as windows 10

Earlier i attempted to uninstall mcafee and update my graphics drivers and when i reset my laptop it bricked it and just kept giving me "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED" no matter what i did, so as a last resort i created a recovery drive on my old lenovo, that solved the problem of my laptop being unable to do anything but what i did not think about is my lenovo is on windows 8 and like 8 years old so now my laptop thinks its that old lenovo and running on windows 8. If i look at dxdiag it looks like it knows the proper components in this laptop but i am wondering if there is a way for me to just facto
