    Recovered with Windows 10 iso on usb, now will not boot on screen


    I just recovered my pc due to a wdf_violation from the win10 iso on a usb. I did a recovery where my personal files would not be deleted. I left the computer to sit as it recovered and came back to a black screen. I've restarted the computer several times and nothing appears to be happening as the monitors stay black, but the pc is running.

    I have a similar problem. I ran the Recover my PC tool because of problems with Windows 10. I used a USB drive with the ISO. After rebuilding my OS, I got to the screen that said, "Hello there. Let's just get a few basic things out of the way." I
    don't have any keyboard or mouse control on this screen. I can use keyboard and mouse through the BIOS screen or when booting to the USB drive, but not when trying to boot through to the HDD to finish the Windows install. I've tried refreshing and recovering
    at least a half dozen times, and I've also tried the Startup Repair tool. Nothing works. I've got UEFI BIOS. The computer is a home-build. Any help?

    Anniversary Update Broke my tablet

    Hi

    I recently applied the Anniversary update to my tablet and now it only boots to he recovery screen and noting works. Cannot boot from recover media, ISO nothing.

    It does help to know the system spec's of the computer that you are having problems with. No way that anyone can even start helping you, without the details.

    Try this option to go into Windows and delete the Display driver in Device Management from the Control panel. Then reboot.


    • Press Restart. After Windows 10 reboots, you can choose which boot options you want enabled. To getinto Safe Mode, you have three different options. To enable Safe Mode press the F4 key on your keyboard, to enable Safe Mode with Networking press F5 and to enable Safe Mode with Command Prompt press F6.
