Windows 10: Recovering a corrupt drive

I recently accidentally started a format on a 1Tb internal storage SSD, I realised almost immediately and stopped the format within around 5 seconds, but now the drive just shows up as an unformatted drive, the drive is or was also bitlocker encrypted but was unlocked at the time, it doesn't show as bitlocker encrypted now.Does anyone know the chances of recovering this drive? It has had around 400 or 500Gb of files on it, nothing majorly important but just really annoying to lose.I have tried a few demo or free recovery programs, some don't find anything, some find heaps of files but they

windows by default does not have HFS and HFS+ based hard drives.
Able to perform retrieval on both HFS and HFS+ based hard drives. and so will not work with windows

Corrupted HDD - How to Recover?

If the drive mounted and it's copying files, you're already doing pretty good. Bad situations where the drive won't even mount or copy files takes much more time and effort to recover data. Don't be surprised if it stops copying half way through if there really is an issue though. Different steps need to be taken to do that and it usually involves using dd.
