Windows 10: Recovering a product key from a uninstalled windows?

I recently uninstalled windows and formatted the ssd it was installed on since i wanted to reuse the ssd on a new pc. However i forgot to retrieve the product key of that windows since i was planning to transfer the product key and activate windows , and now i'm not sure what to do since i dont have the old product key to activate windows on my new pc, and i cant retrieve it on my old windows since i've uninstalled it and formatted the ssd. I cant find the box since i'm pretty sure i purchased the key it digitally but i cant find the email on where i purchased it.

Thank you for contacting Microsoft community.

I suggest you to Uninstall the license using the following steps.

• Press Windows key + X
• Click Command Prompt (Admin)
• At the command prompt, type: slmgr.vbs -upk
• Press Enter, this will uninstall the product key from the computer.

Further on, install Windows 8.1 activate the copy with the product key on the new machine. Then again upgrade the same to Windows 10 using Window Update or Media Creation Tool.

Finding the Windows Vista product key

Allright,I've tried the Hirens BootCD on USB drive and it works like charms.unfortunately,none of the utilities included on it helped me to recover the vista product key..but thats not important anymore,cos I just did a fresh install in the end..everything works fine,but a new issue arise.
DVD drive not recognized in my computer under Vista
tried few things but no results..what do you suggest guys?

 

Recover product key

How can I recover a lost product key for a windows server 2016 license? I have the proof of purchase that contains the COA (certificate of authenticity) bar code, I would imagine that based on this I would be able to either get the corresponding product
key or a replacement one. The product key was not used on the server as it was never taken out of the envelope that contained it so I can't recover it from the actual server.
