Windows 10: recovering files moved to one drive

So i wanted to move a folder of photos from my one laptop to another. I moved the folder to my one drive but it did not upload because i was not signed in. Before i signed in i deleted the queued folder of photos because i did not want it to start downloading as soon as i logged in its an older slower laptop. It asked if i wanted to permanently delete from one drive and i said yes thinking it would still be on the original computer. I went back to look and i cant find it anywhere. I checked the recycle bin on my computer and on one drive, it is not on either. I tried to restore a previous session, but there is none listed. i have no idea where it could have gone.


Since i was not signed into one drive and deleted a folder i had just moved there without it uploading did i completely lose the data or is the folder in limbo somewhere?
