Windows 10: Recovering Pre-installed Office 2019 After Windows 11 Reinstallation

Hi Microsoft Support Team,I hope this message finds you well.I recently reinstalled Windows 11 Home on my laptop, which originally came with Windows 10 Home pre-installed. Along with Windows, my laptop also had Microsoft Office 2019 Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. pre-installed. Unfortunately, after the reinstallation, I can no longer find these applications on my device.I do not have a separate product key for Office 2019, as it came pre-installed with my laptop. Could you please guide me on how I can recover or reinstall Office 2019 on my system?Any assistance you can provide would be greatl

Only supported on Win10. Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go.

Last year at Ignite, we announced Office 2019 – the next perpetual version of Office that includes apps (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Skype for Business) and servers (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business). Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

• Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
• Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
  • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
  • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
  • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
• The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.

 

Problem Activating Office 2019

You can save a few steps and do this

1. Go to this page: Microsoft 365
2. Log in with your Microsoft account
3. Enter your Office product key
4. Use the link given to download Office 2019
5. install Office 2019

I used this method for both of my copies of Office 2019

BTW, Microsoft Toolkit 2.71 says this:

I have deleted office pre-installed on the computer, how to restore

I understand that you deleted the pre-installed office on your computer. Can you clarify that this Office is already activated and have a license? And what type of Office that was pre-installed? is it Office 365 or Office 2019?

If you delete or uninstall the Office, you can just re-install it again. Please follow the steps on how to download and install Office 365 or Office 2019. Be sure that you have your Activation Key or Office 365 Subscription account ready for activation.
