    Recovering the Office License from a corrupted PC


    A friend of mine has a Windows 10 Laptop, which came with a pre-installed Office-License. It is a really messy PC and has had struggles with different things in the past. Now she handed it to me to "fix it", the problem is, it is stuck in restart loop. After a bit of investigation I found, that her install is missing many relevant files and is badly corrupted. For this I made a backup on an external drive and made a clean Windows install. So far so good, the PC works again, but Office does not. I am not able to recover the old Backup without crashing the whole install again. She never signed i

    Office documents are corrupted after recovery

    Experts,

    I have recovered my Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) by a data recovery application. It recovered file successfully but now, they are corrupt. I have around 79 files.
    Please suggest me.
