Windows 10: Recovering Windows 10 Digital License

Guys, i recently received a laptop from my roommate, the laptop is arround >10 years old, it has intel i3 3rd gen & 2GB RAM. He had given the laptop to someone else before and that guys messed it up, so when he gave it to me i wiped the drive and did a clean install of windows 10Upgrade from unactivated 8.0 to test if it's usable, truns out it's completely useless as it cannot run anything and the keyboard is damaged. The digital license is on microsoft's servers with your computer ID. If you do more than one clean install, your computer that you upgraded to wins. 7 to win. 10 will be automatically activated with this digital license.

You can only recover the Windows 7 key from your computer not the digital license.

The good folks at microsoft made me buy a new prodkey because they claim that there was no digital license on their end.
