Windows 10: Recovery D Local Space running out of room

My laptop is 8 years old.My laptop is running Windows 8.Current Specs:Local Disk C: 579GB Free of 672GBRecovery D: 2.92GB Free of 24.4GBProcessor: AMD A8-4500M APUGraphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7600M SeriesMemory RAM: 8GBI can no longer upgrade the hardware on laptop due to its age. Have only been able to upgrade HDD and RAM upgraded.How can I improve the space of the Recovery D: It is getting less as time progresses.Many people will say to me I need to buy a brand new laptop. I understand that, and have full intentions to within the next 12 months. I just need this one to keep going a

Duplicate RECOVERY D drives plus running out of room on D notification

I upgraded to Windows 10 from 8. It has worked fine until recently when I started getting "running out of room on Recovery D drive". In trying to find out what to do about that I used a suggestion to look at Disk Management. There it shows my C drive with
four partitions, the backup drive I'm using, then...2 RECOVERY (D drives. Both are listed as layout: simple and type: basic and status: healthy. The file system on one of them is blank and the other is NTFS. They have the exact same capacity: 25.31 GB and
free space: 1 mb ( 0%). The only difference I can see is in the file system.

I'm not an expert, and I don't know what to do about this. I have not ever messed with the recovery drive on any of my computers, so I do not know what happened or how it happened. Also, I don't know what or how to fix whatever is wrong. I believe this occurred
after the latest Win 10 update this week.

Thoughts? Directions? Thanks!!

Please help me with the following:

1. What is the make and model number of your Computer?
   

Please note that recovery "D" is a partition on the hard drive which contains the image of the Operating system. You can use it to restore the computer back to factory settings. You should not attempt to store files in it.
If you have any data saved on the D drive, I would suggest you to move it to an external drive and to free up some space, you can follow the steps provided in the article:
