Windows 10: Recovery email update needed ASAP not within 30 days

My recovery email tagged to my account has been deleted by the previous institution a university and I need access to my Microsoft account URGENTLY because a recent update caused the 0xd0000225 code and my laptop has now locked me out and I need to reset my PIN - but of course to do this it wants to confirm my account through the recovery email that no longer exists. I submitted the request to have my Gmail account replace the inactive mailbox, but it tells me I have to wait 30 days??? I need support ASAP to update my email recovery credentials so I can log back into my laptop.I cannot wait

30 day wait for secondary email change.

My laptop failed to start after a Windows update. I was then prompted for a 42 digit recovery key, which I had no idea about. I was advised to sign into my Microsoft account, which I had never used and didn't want. I eventually found my account email but had no idea what the password was. I had to supply a ridiculous amount of personal questions and was then sent a link enabling me to change my password.

In my MS account I clicked on my device and the bitlocker recovery key link and it wanted to send an email to my secondary account, not my main one. the secondary account is one I haven't used for many years. I found a link to change the email to a current one and was told to wait 30 days! How utterly ridiculous is that? I can't wait 30 minutes to repair my laptop, that was ruined by a Microsoft update in the first place, never mind 30 days. Plus, I already went through all the personal details that they asked for to prove it was me but that is not good enough.

They say that this is to stop hackers, news for you Microsoft! A hacker is more likely to wait 30 days than the average user!

 

Account Hacked and had email removed, resubmitted and says takes 30 days?

My account was hacked and it removed my phone number and email and added their email, I was able to get back in and change my password and also requested change to remove their email and reinsert my email but it is saying it will take 30 days?? Is there anyway to make this happen ASAP NOW?? Do they still have access to the account?

 

Windows 10 Deletes my SENT email after 30 days

Since using WINDOWS 10, all of my "SENT" email are being deleted after 30 days. I can't find any functionto correct this. I need all of my SENT email. Suggestions?
