Windows 10: Recovery Key "incorrect", Storage Spaces Reduced Resiliency, Disk Full

Please please please someone help. This problem is getting out of hand. I've posted about this problem, but the posts are getting moved to different threads and no one is replying. So here it all is form the beginning as simply as I can put it.

Not too long ago, I added two additional HDDs to my desktop. I then moved all of my C:/Users files to one of the new HDDs then enabled RAID 1 using Windows Storage Spaces on the new HDDs.

All was working perfectly until one day I tried downloading something or creating a new file (can't remember which exactly) only to get a "disk full" error on D:\, the new mirrored drives. Upon investigation, one of the new HDDs (not new from box) firmware had predicted a failure, so Storage Spaces retired the drive and now says the Storage Space has reduced resiliency, add a new drive then remove the bad one.

As it stands, my computer is useless for much more than browsing the internet. I can't download files or create/edit existing ones. I tried installing AOMEI and Macrium, but both failed so I can't mirror my HDD to prevent downtime. I have another 1TB HDD, but while the RAID 1 ones are WD, this one is Seagate. The only thing I could really think to do was attach another 320GB disk to copy D:\ users in case things go really bad, but for some unknown reason explorer ends up not copying the files. I tried booting into safemode, but this requires using a recovery key and despite that I have a recovery key that matches up with the ID (from my live account and from a .txt on a thumb drive), BitLocker says this key is wrong and won't let me boot into safemode.

Some things I've considered doing, but want some go/no-go advice on before doing:
Adding the Seagate drive to the pool, but I worry about the fact that this is not identical to the other drives.
Deleting the Storage Space, but I'm given a warning that this will delete all data the pool contains (really? There's no going back one enabled?)
Beyond that any other alternatives I'm aware of (as mentioned) can't be done because the disk is allegedly full.

Please please please please please someone please offer any kind of advice. I'm honestly desperate at this point--I haven't been able to accomplish any work at home for about a week now*cry.

Storage Space shows reduced resiliency in Windows 10 version 1607

(Dell XPS 8500, 24GB, 1GB mSata system drive, two Toshiba USB3.0 attached hard drives)

I have a storage space set up on my Windows 1607 primary computer. (Storage Spaces is a feature of Windows 8.1 and later and Server 2012 and later.) It is set up with a normal pair of large capacity hard drives and is in two-way mirrored configuration,
formatted ReFS. I see the "reduced resiliency warning" but both drives are marked as "OK." What is the meaning of the "reduced resiliency" warning and what is required to remove it"? I get the same warning with a similar storage space configuration on my
test box, the only difference being that it is formatted NTFS.

The two drives in a Raid array do not need to be the exact same make/model drives. They don't even have to be the same capacity, but the Raid Array will run at the lowest capacity drive in the array.
