Recovery Media Creator on Dell Inspiron 3671 requires >16 GB USB flash drive

The instructions for creating a system image recovery USB drive using Microsoft's Recovery Media Creator on a Dell Inspiron 3671 desktop purchased December 2019 requires a 16GB USB flash drive. However, each time the process failed with the error message ""We can't create the recovery drive: A problem occured while creating the recovery drive". First, it would be nice if the error message explained the reason for the failure. After reading several posts by others experiencing this same problem for years, one person suggested perhaps the new Windows 10 system on Dell computers require more than 16GB. So, I tried again with a 64GB USB flash drive and it worked successfully. I highly recommend Microsoft and Dell consider 1 explaining the reason for the failure in the error message generated by the Recovery Media Creator software and 2 revise the instructions to require a 32GB USB flash drive.

    :)

  2. Recovery Disk must be greater than 16 GB for some systems

The Windows 10 Recovery Disk Creation Tool asks for a 16 GB USB drive. After many failures with multiple ports and several 16 GB drives, I finally tried a 32 GB drive. Success on the first try. This is on a new Dell Inspiron 27 7000 All in one (7775).
My other 3 Windows 10 systems are able to make Recovery Disks on a 16 GB drive. Microsoft needs to change the tool to ask for a disk that is big enough to work!

    Dell Inspiron 7537 Laptop & Creator's Upgrade

My Dell Inspiron 15 7537 laptop hasn't been offered the update to the Creator's Update via Windows Update yet and it doesn't appear on Dell's upgrade list. Has anyone updated their Inspiron 7537 to the Creator's Update via the Media Creation Tool or ISO file and did you have any problems?

Creating a Recovery Drive on USB flash Drive

I want to create a Recovery Drive on a USB Flash Drive. When I click on Recovery Media Creation, and then go to the next step, I get the message:

    Quote

We cant create a recovery drive on this PC. Some required files are missing. To troubleshoot problems when your PC cant start, use your Windows Installation disc or media

I don't have a Windows Installation disc, since I got a free upgrade to Windows 10. What should I do?
