    How to repair windows10 File: \Boot\BCD with error code 0xc000000f

    Hi Eslam,

    To troubleshoot error code 0xc000000f, we recommend that you follow the steps from this article:
    Recovery options in Windows 10 and refer to the section "Use installation media to restore your PC".
    We suggest that you use USB drive to perform repair on your Windows 10 PC if the installation disk is not available.

    Recovery error 0xc000000f

    Whenever I try to start my Windows 10 PC, I get an error titled "Recovery". It says:

    Recovery

    Your PC/Device needs to be repaired.

    The Boot Configuration Data for your PC is missing or contains errors.

    File: \Boot\BCD

    Error code: 0xc000000f

    You'll need to use recovery tools. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or a USB device), contact your PC administrator or PC/Device manufacturer.

    Please help. If there is a way to recover my files then this would be amazing. If not, I would like to know how to fix the issue (what the issue is, hard drive, cpu, etc.). I would also like to know how to prevent this from happening again and how to prevent
    other issues.
